What this site keeps, and for how long.
Page owners
We keep what you type on your desk: the name clients see, your time zone, your hours, rules, meeting kinds, days off and the "where we meet" note. There is no account, so no email address or password. Your desk link is stored only as a one-way fingerprint (SHA-256), so we cannot look it up or send it to you again.
People who book
When you book, we keep your name, the contact detail and note you chose to give, your time zone and the time you booked. The page owner sees them on their desk and in their calendar feed. Your private booking link is stored only as a fingerprint.
How long
- Bookings are deleted 60 days after the meeting.
- A desk that nobody opens and that gets no bookings for 180 days is deleted with everything on it.
- A page owner can delete their desk at any time; every booking on it goes at once.
- To stop abuse we count requests per address per day; addresses are kept only as salted fingerprints and deleted after 3 days. The site's own logs mask private links. The host's standard web-server access log records the address of each page requested, private links included, and is kept by the host.
What we do not do
No email or text messages, no ads, no trackers, no analytics scripts, no third-party fonts or scripts, no selling or sharing of data. Forms set one security cookie to stop forged requests; nothing else is stored in your browser.
